favorite commercials- and the ones I despise!

My favorite commercial out right now- I laugh EVERY time I see it- is the one with Frank Caliendo and the DVR. Absolutely hysterical.  I laugh out loud, even when I’m alone- TEARS in my eyes! It’s SO funny- doesn’t make me want to get a DVR, but certainly makes me remember the product. “With the new ‘divver’, you can play, you can uh….recordificate, you can- look, here’s a french word for stop. PA-OOSAY.” SOOOO FUNNY!!! My second favorite commercial is the one with the yellow lab puppy- I think it’s for K9Advantage. SO cute- “there ain’t no bugs on me, there ain’t no bugs on me, there may be bugs on some o’ you mugs, but there ain’t no bugs on me…” Shocker, I know, I love a commercial with a dog in it. My third favorite commercial is one for Aquafina. Lou Pinella, who apparently has quite a reputation (I don’t watch baseball, I don’t know) [I know, Steven, I'm a communist- whatever.], reacts to a call the umpire makes and runs out there while drinking the aforementioned water. He YELLS that “well lately I’ve been feeling happy and content” and the ump yells back “yeah, you seem different”. It’s hysterical- yelling at him that he’s doing a fantastic job and made a great call, but he’s got a reputation to uphold and the ump better throw him out. Still yelling, he throws him out and Lou says “Fantastic! Say hello to the misses…”, and the ump replies “I will, you do the same!” The OTHER part that we don’t see (except on YouTube) is someone on another base talking to one of the base coaches saying “he seems like a pretty good guy” and the coach says “teddy bear…”. HAAAAA! So funny!

And now for the ones I hate. I’ll turn them EVERY time. First and foremost is that freaking commercial for yogurt and weight loss. The girl whose husband is in the background in the kitchen and she’s talking to her friend on the phone about her new “diet” which includes an assortment of flavored yogurts? She’s INCREDIBLY nasally and whiny and I just want to punch her in the face. YUCK! Her voice…UGH. It haunts me. GAG. Second is for CapitalOne credit cards. I hate those commercials. They’re just…stupid. Again, my opinion, but I’ll change it every time. THIRD, those retarded Alltel commercials. Stupid. They’re just….UGH. Stupid.
